B501 is a concentrated liquid blend of living aerobic and anaerobic bacteria specially selected for their unique ability to produce active enzymes used for the degradation of sanitation wastes. B501, the fourth generation of bacteria sanitation treatments, has been subjected to stringent antibiotic screening. Naturally occurring and non-genetically engineered, B501 is safe for use in all types of applications. B501 has the unique ability to formulate bacterial strains producing large amounts of amylase (starch), protease (protein), cellulase (cellulose), and lipase (grease). Used on a routine basis, B501 will supplement the bacteria normally present to help degrade waste material more rapidly and with greater efficiency.

Utilization

B501 can be slug dosed or put directly into the sewage tank line (i.e. Marine Sanitation Device (M.S.D.), Collection,Holding and Transfer System (CHTS) or other types of holding tanks.) For a more convenient application, apply the product directly to galley and toilet facilities (e.g. sinks, showers, commodes and scuppers) to treat the whole system. With its specially designed surfactant system, B501 can be used as a neutral cleanser in place of harsh acid and bleach based products. Specifications
B502 is a balanced compound composed of bacteria, enzymes and nutrients that are activated by fat, food leftovers, paper and organic matter that causes foul odors. Once activated, B502 eliminates vegetal and animal fat, as well as digestive proteins and amides to help suppress foul odors and prevent drain clogs.

By regenerating bacterial flora in septic tanks with “COD restoration,” B502 helps prevent the growth of bacteria in water by feeding on the phosphates to help break down the flushed matter. This helps improve the performance of grease traps and drains.

A natural product without any harmful effects on the environment, B502 is a highly concentrated power containing approximately 420 million free bacteria per gram. These can function either in an aerobic or anaerobic state (with or without oxygen). This product is designed for use in sanitary installations, kitchen drains, eating areas, food industry waste water, slaughter houses, drains, grease traps, septic tanks, grease separation tanks, water treatment plants and more.

Dosage

Flush Tanks

• First three weeks: 100 grams of product per day for each 100 MT of discharge or per cubic meter of flush water to be treated.
• Maintenance and odor removing: 200 grams twice a week for each 100 MT of discharge or per cubic meter of flush water to be treated.

Septic Tanks

• First three weeks: 100 -150 grams of product per day per cubic meter of capacity.
• Maintenance and odor removing: 50 -100 grams of product per cubic meter capacity twice a week.

It is recommended to use B502 when the discharge is inactive.

Specifications
B503 is a biological formulation designed for cleaning organic substances and eliminating foul odors caused by decomposition by metabolizing organic substances with bacteria. B503 both cleans and deodorizes. B503 digests organic substances, transforming them into Carbon Dioxide (CO2) and water to eliminate foul smells at the source. For preventative maintenance and to avoid clogged drains, apply B503 to drainpipes and sanitary installations like sewage treatment tanks to eliminate organic residue. Using B503 regularly ensures clean and odorless sanitation systems. B503 is neither toxic or aggressive and does not have any counter-indications.

Action
B503 fights development of growth by feeding on phosphates. It can operate in aerobic as well as anaerobic mode (with or without the presence of oxygen). Elimination of waste through digestion of organic substances: Once applied, the enzymes contained in B503 consume organic wastes such as grease, oils, proteins, hydrocarbons, sugars, etc. contained in foodstuff.

Dosage

• Cleaning: Apply the product with brush, sponge or mop on surface to be cleaned. Wash the residue down the drain.
• Elimination of foul odors: Spray product onto surface to be treated.
• Removing stains caused by organic products: If possible, remove excess material with paper or rag and spray or pour B503 on the stain. Let product act for as long as possible, then dry with a clean cloth or paper. For resistant stains, cover the stained area with B503 using a damp cloth and let the product act 5-6 hours on the stain or as long as possible. Dry with a clean cloth or paper.

C201 is a multipurpose light alkaline detergent with natural citrus solvents.

Dosage

General Cleaning
C201 can be diluted to a 2% solution with water for light cleaning. Allow to soak for 1-15 minutes before rinsing with a pressure washer. The effectiveness of the product is increased by using water at a temperature of 20 to 60ºC for dilution and rinsing.

For Heavy Contamination
C201 is sprayed undiluted and left for 20–60 minutes, and hosed off immediately with a powerful pressure washer while brushing the surfaces.

Bilge Cleaning
For bilge cleaning, depending on the contamination degree, C201 can be sprayed directly on the surfaces to be cleaned and then rinsed after 10-15 minutes. In case of heavier contamination C201 can be used in its concentrate formula, in solution at 3-5% with water. With this method, called roll-wash, the product and the water can be left in the bilge for several days (less than a week); the movement provided by the navigation of the yacht will provide the correct agitation of the cleaning solution.

Specifications
D301 is a brand new acid descaler engineered to be safe even on light alloys.

• Easily dissolves water scale.

Dosage
D301 was engineered to dissolve water scale from evaporators built with very light alloys like Cu–Ni–Al. Further testing shows that D301 is also effective removing water scale or marine growth from heat exchangers, boilers and water cooling systems.

For recirculation in heat exchangers, D301 concentrate, is usually diluted from 3% to 5% with water and recirculated by mean of a acid proof pump from 2 to 4 hours depending on the degree of scaling of the system. After emptying the system and rinsing with fresh water, we suggest the use of an alkaline compound to neutralize any acid leftover.

The ready-to-use solution has specific thickeners to allow the product to be sprayed on vertical surfaces such as propeller blades and rudders in order to remove barnacles.

Dosage
For severely corroded and soiled surfaces, use full strength. Use diluted in solution 1 part of D302 with 2 to 4 parts of water for aluminum and surfaces less severely corroded or soiled. Rinse down surfaces with water 10 to 15 minutes after application. When used on aluminum, rinse off within approximately 5 minutes of application.

E601 is a clear, odorless neutral degreasing agent developed to treat high boiling aliphatic hydrocarbons among other things.

Special degreasing agent helps remove oil and grease from machines and motor parts, transmissions, ball bearings, gear wheels, metal parts, electrical components, etc. Odorless. Contains no chlorinated hydrocarbons or other harmful chemicals.
Does not emulsify in water to help separate the polluted oil using an oil/water separator. High flash point.

Dosage
E601 can be applied with a brush or by spraying the parts needing to be cleaned. This product can also be used by filling an immersion bath to clean extremely dirty parts. The high flash point and its odorless nature makes E601 a pleasant and problem free product.

W401 is a combination of polyphosphates with stabilizing properties. The product effectively and economically controls scale and corrosion in potable water and other shipboard once-through water systems. The blended components of W401 utilize the best properties of each ingredient and can be used in potable water.

Dosage

W401 is non-corrosive to ordinary metals utilized in feeding equipment and may be added with a simple by-pass feeder available through your Uniservice Unisafe representative. W403 (Chlor 12%) is used to control and remove bacterial flora to meet the essential requirements for drinking water.

Dosage
0,2 ppm of Residual Active Chlorine as assessed by DPD method. Tablets of ortho-tolidine should always be present at the farthest point from place of application in the ship or pipeline. Residual chlorine in drinking water tanks should range between 0,5 and 2 (maximum) PPM to ensure a wide range of antibacterial protection. To obtain 2 ppm in a drinking water tank, put 20cc of W403 (corresponding to approximately 20 pump strokes of the proportioning pump) into every cubic meter of water. W403 may either be dosed manually with a suitable dosing pump, or automatically upon water loading by means of a proportioning system utilizing a pulse water meter connected to a special proportioning pump.

F105 is a marine fuel lubricant designed to reduce friction and wear. Its unique blend helps restore the lubricity of ultra desulfurized fuels. F105, used regularly, will reduce the wear of fuel pumps, injectors and distribution systems that occurs when low intrinsic lubricity fuels are adopted.

Dosage
The “perfect” dosage should be calculated upon the result of HFRR test done ashore by a laboratory as there is no direct link between the value of the Sulphur and the lubricity capability of the fuel. Considering the average value of HFRR found in several ULS fuels (Ultra Low Sulphur) analysed by independent laboratories the dosage rate may be set between 100 and 600 ppm in the worst cases . If we adopt a dosage of 200 ppm of F105 without knowing the real HFRR value of the bunkered fuel we will for sure limitate any possible damage to the distribution system; this dosage expressed in liters is equal to 1 liter each 5 cubic meters of fuel. In any case an eventual over dosage of F105 will not cause any problems. Since the lubricity of the fuel does not depend only and/or directly to the content of sulphur, but is the result of the process of desulfurization of virgin naphtha, there is no fixed calculation for the dosage unless a specific fuel test is performed by a specialised laboratory.

Dosage
Bacteria in fuel storage is often misunderstood and often mislabeled as stratification due to the incompatibility of blended fuels. If the presence of bacteria is suspected, water from the fuel storage tank bottoms should be drawn and tested to determine bacteria count. If bacteria levels are above 105/ml, there is a good chance that bacteria colonization has taken place throughout the fuel. In such case, use 500 - 700ml of F106 to treat each cubic meter of fuel.
